She completed her massage training in Florida and became nationally certified in 1996. She joined the Valley Wellness Centers in 1999. Her continuing education and techniques include myofascial release and unwinding, core bodywork, medical massage, cranial-sacral therapy, Swedish relaxation/stress reduction, deep tissue, shiatsu and Reiki level 1. She also performs functional capacity testing and surface EMG's.

"Starting out as a formally trained medical lab technician, I have worked in the medical and chiropractic fields for over 20 years. During that time I saw the need to educate people about methods of natural health care and stress management techniques. I derive great satisfaction and fulfillment from working closely with people to achieve these goals. As the mother of a school aged child I take a special interest in natural healthcare for infants and children. I find it exciting that in recent years there has been research conducted in controlled clinical settings that have documented the physiological effects and benefits of massage. Massage and other "hands-on" therapies are an important part of any health care regimen"
