Rachel Carey, MPT, has been practicing Physical Therapy for the past 6 years.  She graduated from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in 2002 with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy.  Rachel is from Lubbock, Texas and moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in December, 2007 with her husband, Jared Carey, DC to join the Valley Wellness Center team.  Rachel is ACLS certified and has had experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation, Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Neurological Rehabilitation and Wound Care.  Rachel is also trained in Functional Capacity Evaluation, which is used for pre and post screening evaluations of auto accident and workman’s compensation cases.  Rachel has recently been trained in Athleticism and AIS (Active isolated stretching). 

Rachel is excited to be in the mountains and enjoys snowboarding, hiking, biking and running in her free time.  She believes that one of her greatest rewards in life is to help patients return to pain free functional and performance levels.
